Our Team

Hi I’m Heidi!

After years in the hospitality world in Aspen—my home away from home and my long-time stomping grounds at Aspen Mezzaluna—I’m beyond thrilled to bring GSD XFormers Pilates Studio to Carbondale, CO!

Pilates has become more than just a workout for me—it’s a lifestyle. And what better way to blend my favorite place with my favorite movement than by creating a welcoming space for the locals? I cannot wait to see you at the Studio.

Hi I’m Dale!

A proud Central Coast native, Dale brings warmth, energy, and a lifelong passion for fitness to the GSD Pilates community. As a former minor league baseball player for the Chicago Cubs, staying active has always been a top priority in his life. Through his wife Heidi, Dale discovered the incredible benefits of Pilates and has become a true believer in the strength and balance it brings to both body and mind. He’s excited to welcome you to the studio, cheer you on, and be part of your wellness journey!

Hi I’m Marley!

Marley has been teaching Lagree/ SRT and Pilates since 2015. She is a master instructor for Transform Colorado and served as Director of Training from 2019-2022. She has helped train and develop new instructors for the past 8 years. Marley was born and raised in LA and has worked in the LA, Denver, and Aspen fitness markets. She lives locally in Carbondale with her husband, 1 year old daughter and 5 year old Sheepadoodle Thor. When she’s not at the studio you’ll find her chasing her daughter around and being a full time mom.

Hi I’m Mariana!

She is SRT Certified and has a background rooted in wellbeing, with years of experience in yoga, movement, and holistic health. She’s passionate about human development and helping others feel their best. When she’s not guiding others through mindful movement, you can find her reading, hiking, skiing, or spending time outdoors with friends

Hi I’m Emily!

Growing up in the dance world, movement and activity have always been a huge part of Emily’s life— until a broken femur threw her for a loop. During her recovery, she was introduced to Pilates and was instantly hooked, blown away by how quickly it helped her regain strength and confidence. With over 100 hours of practice behind her now, Emily brings real passion and a fresh understanding of the SRT method.

After moving from the Caribbean to Carbondale, Emily landed at GSD and immediately felt at home. The energy, friendships, and supportive community turn every class into so much more than just a workout. For Emily, it’s truly her happy place— and she can’t wait to help others feel the same!

Emily’s classes are all about having fun and feeling empowered, ensuring that everyone leaves feeling strong and accomplished— whether it’s their first-ever Pilates session or their fiftieth. When she’s not in the studio, you’ll catch her off on adventures with her chocolate lab puppy, Boone, or out hiking and fly fishing with her boyfriend, Noah.

She’s pumped to meet new faces, build connections, and get sh*t done together!

Hi I’m Jackie!

A lifelong athlete and avid equestrian, Jackie was initially drawn to Pilates when a client suggested Slow Resistance Training (SRT) as a way for her to heal from various injuries. It was incredibly active, and Jackie was impressed by the full body workout achieved in under one hour, and how strong and confident she felt after each session. Jackie is also a certified EYRT 200 yoga teacher with 15 years of teaching experience which will be evident in her teaching style. She believes in SRT and the amazing benefits it provides and looks forward to sharing this practice with others and supporting this growing community!

Hi I’m Leelah!

As a dedicated GSD instructor, Leelah believes that true wellness extends beyond the studio, and is committed to living a healthy, balanced life both in and out of the studio. With a strong passion for fitness, she is focused on empowering others to move with strength, confidence, and mindfulness. When not guiding clients through their spicy SRT class, Leelah can be found enjoying quality time with her family.  She embraces an active lifestyle, often found hiking and relishing in nature’s beauty. This love for the outdoors fuels her energy and passion for fitness, reminding her that movement is not just about physical health, it’s about overall well-being. Through GSD, she aims to encourage and empower others to prioritize their health and feel their best—inside and out.

Hi I’m Alisa!

Alisa grew up in the dance community specializing in ballet. She believes in strengthening the core as the root to great physical health. Her goal with each class is to empower you to try new things in order to build confidence in your practice and life. She is passionate about learning and so you’ll likely find her reading or traveling when she’s not in the studio.

Hi I’m Mackenzie!

Mackenzie is an East Coast native who has called the Roaring Fork Valley home for more than a decade. An avid skier, she was sidelined for years due to knee injuries, spending countless hours in the gym rehabbing and rebuilding strength. It was during this time that she discovered the Lagree Method and fell in love with its low-impact, high-efficiency approach. She found that the modality’s focus on slow, controlled movements not only maximized results but also minimized injury risk, and was forever hooked.

As a certified Slow Resistance Training instructor, Mackenzie has been teaching Lagree in Aspen for more than two years. She’s excited to be part of the GSD team and to introduce the XFormer method to Carbondale.

When she’s not in the studio, Mackenzie is pursuing her Nutrition Therapy Master at the Nutrition Therapy Institute, skiing, hiking, and outdoor adventuring with her husband and their 8-year-old Labrador puppy.
